Schedule of Events – 2016

July – December, 2016

Dear Divine Atman,

NOIDA Ashram is unique in some ways; sacred soil from Gurudeva’s ashrams from India and abroad was scattered on its grounds by Swami Vishwanandaji during one of his visits to the site before even the foundation stone was laid! This ashram is also specifically built for holding spiritual retreats around the year. Moreover, 5-day Sangams are held once or twice a year when about 300 devotees from all over the country are accommodated within the ashram. Hindi is the main language used in most classes and satsangas.

This ashram, located about 4 kms from Delhi-UP border, was inaugurated in January 2010. The Administration Block includes a Dhyana Mandir, Reception, Books Room, Library, Counseling Rooms, Kitchen/Dining, Offices, and rooms for sannyasis and devotees transiting through NCR.
Individual Spiritual Retreat are encouraged. Devotees are invited for 3-7 days of silence, introspection, reading, morning-evening group meditations, and counseling by Sannyasis. The Sadhanalaya has 60 single rooms withattached bath and another 60 beds in dormitories.

Conducted Spiritual Retreats, led by Sannyasis, are held regularly, mostly over weekends. These consist of 2/3 days of silence, morning-evening Energization Exercises/meditation, review of our divine Guru’s teachings, how-to-live principles, and techniques of concentration and meditation.

Schedules of Conducted Retreats for July-December 2016 are included. Devotees with fragile health/debilitating conditions may not apply. Devotees with special needs for accommodation or diet may make their own arrangements outside the Ashram. Ashram accommodation is separate for men and women.

Transit Accommodation in a spiritual environment (double-bed rooms with attached bath) is available to devotees visiting/transiting Delhi/Noida for pilgrimage etc. for up to 3 days.

Any devotee who wants transit accommodation, or wants to attend aconducted retreat or individual retreat, should inform Noida Reception by phone or email at least 3 days before the date of his arrival. Devotees whoarrive without such prior intimation may not be accommodated.

Sangams and Retreats offer a chance to let go of the world, dive deep into the inner silence and rejuvenate body, mind and soul. As Gurudeva says,“Every person needs a retreat, a dynamo of silence where he may go for the exclusive purpose of being recharged by the Infinite.”

In divine friendship,
Yogoda Satsanga Society of India
