“Where Krishna is, There is Victory”

Discourse by a YSS Sannyasi in Hindi

About the Event

“Each person has to fight his own battle of Kurukshetra. It is a war not only worth winning but in the divine order of the universe and of the eternal relationship between the soul and God, a war that sooner or later must be won.”

— Paramahansa Yogananda

In a discourse on the same theme, a YSS sannyasi explained how this “war” waged between good and evil habits inside us, will eventually be won by those who persevere, and shared the means to achieve this final victory of the soul.

These reassuring words — “यतः कृष्णस्ततो जयः” (“Where there is Krishna, there is victory”) — appearing several times in the Mahabharata, offer solace to all sincere devotees on the spiritual path. Thus, if we follow Krishna — by following his teachings — we are following dharma; and as the Bhagavad Gita says: where dharma is, there is victory.

This satsanga in Hindi was live-streamed from the Sadhana Sangam at YSS Ranchi Ashram.
