Publications Distribution Head

  • Operational Oversight and Team Management:

Sevak Opportunities

Some of the benefits of being an ashram Sevak are: living in a spiritually-uplifting ashram environment, morning and evening group meditations led by monastics, regular spiritual discourses and classes conducted by monastics specifically for Sevaks, spiritual fellowship with monastics and other Sevaks, periodic outings with other Sevaks for rejuvenation, and an opportunity to live a spiritually balanced life.

Though devotees offer their Seva without seeking any remuneration other than free boarding and lodging, YSS may offer an honorarium to some Sevaks.

  • Mandir Department:

The Secretary of Yogoda Satsanga Schools functions under the overall authority of the School Managing Committee, bearing responsibility for the effective operation and administration of the School. Acting on behalf of the Committee, he undertakes authorized actions necessary for implementing its resolutions and ensures compliance with all lawful orders, regulations, and directives issued by competent authorities and Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS).

The YSS Helpdesk team is looking for a Data Analyst to support the team in making data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will take the time to understand the problems being addressed, and identify relevant data metrics and analyzes that can yield valuable insights. Key responsibilities include studying data structures and classifying data, cleaning and manipulating data for analysis, analyzing data to derive meaningful metrics, and creating graphs, as needed. The Data Analyst will also develop simple reports and, if possible, summary dashboards. This volunteer will collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, work in alignment with the team’s direction, and proactively propose solutions to key questions.

Registration Coordinator – Monastic Tours

Role: Volunteer, 20 hours every two months

Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to manage and coordinate our Online Registration for Monastic Tours.


Main Functions of the Role:

  • Plan and liaise with various stakeholders (Managing Committee, Monastic Center Counsellor, Centers department, volunteers) to coordinate the online training and the documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the training process, facilitating clear communication and efficient collaboration
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation related to training programmes, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Oversee logistical aspects of training events, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination.


Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Graduate in any stream
    • Experience in project planning and management is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong command of English and Hindi languages, both spoken and written.
    • Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite etc.
    • Excellent organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
    • An agile learner with a keen eye for problem-solving

Website Content Management Specialist

Position Summary:
YSS is seeking a volunteer to provide hands-on support for website management and other digital projects. A good understanding of YSS principles and standards is required, apart from experience in content management (using WordPress/similar) or other digital marketing areas.


Main Functions of the Role:

  • Update and manage the YSS website content
  • Upload/edit translations
  • Track analytics, monitor trends, share actionable insights/recommendations

 

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • A BSc in Computer Science or an MBA in Marketing is preferred, but not mandatory
    • Prior experience working in content management or digital marketing or web technology
    • Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to learn new platforms and software technologies
    • Willingness to learn

Cyber Security Specialist

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Application of technologies, processes, and controls to protect systems, data, networks and programs
  • Mitigating the risk of cyber attacks to protect user data and prevent any unauthorized users from accessing, harming, or disrupting our IT systems and applications

    • Cyber Security experience in Web/WordPress sites

    • Awareness of ongoing cyber security threats and ways to mitigate risks

Email Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:
YSS is seeking a volunteer to set up and manage multi-modal digital campaigns. The individual should have experience in creating and maintaining automation flows and personalization.

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Support the ideation, planning and setup of Marketing Automation on YSS websites, Email, SMS, WhatsApp and other platforms
  • Manage end-to-end campaign production and deployment
  • Create and maintain audience segments/lists as needed for YSS initiatives
  • Deploy automations for lead generation, registration, welcome and drip campaigns using marketing automation platforms
  • Track performance, monitor trends, share actionable insights and make recommendations based on results


Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Significant experience in any of the following areas: email marketing, marketing automation, lead generation, or performance marketing
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • High proficiency in web CRM/marketing automation platforms such as ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar
    • Knowledge of email design tools, and basic HTML/CSS
    • Ability to learn new platforms and software technologies
    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Web Analytics Specialist

YSS is seeking volunteers who can help us track and review web analytics for various YSS websites.

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Measuring, collecting, analysing, and reporting YSS website data aimed at understanding and optimising usage of YSS websites
  • Recommending improvement actions to provide intuitive search features, and supporting increased website traffic


Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Significant experience in Google Analytics is required
    • YSS/SRF Kriyaban
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Comfortable with using technologies such as Google Data Studio, Microsoft Clarity, etc. is an added bonus
    • Data analytics and visualization skills are preferred

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

YSS is seeking volunteers who are interested in managing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities for the YSS websites.

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Identifying and implementing strategies to improve visibility on search engine results pages, and increasing organic search traffic to YSS websites

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Significant experience with on-page SEO
    • YSS/SRF Kriyaban
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Proficiency in reporting and analytical skills are preferred
    • Proficiency in Google Search Console and Yoast plugin is required
    • Exposure to other SEO tools are helpful, although not compulsory
