God Talks With Arjuna: The Bhagavad Gita, Sloka II:48

On the occasion of Janmashtami, a special eight-hour-long meditation was led by YSS sannyasis on August 29 to commemorate the birth of Bhagavan Krishna.

The meditation was conducted in two sessions. The first session commenced with the Energization Exercises, and both the sessions included inspirational readings and periods of chanting and meditation. It concluded with the performance of Guruji’s Healing Technique and a closing prayer.

The sessions were conducted in both English and Hindi.


The schedule was:

  • Session I: 8 a.m. to 12 noon
  • Break: 12 noon to 12:30 p.m.
  • Session II: 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
