Self-Esteem: A Spiritual Perspective

by Mukti Mata

Mukti Mata (1922 – 2008), a sannyasini of SRF who became a disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda in 1945, discusses the necessity of self-esteem from the perspective of the soul — the higher Self — and what it truly means to be successful at fulfilling the purpose of life according to the ancient wisdom of India that Paramahansaji brought to the world. This compassionate, insightful, and deeply encouraging talk was given at the 1986 SRF Convocation in Los Angeles.
