Paramahansa Yogananda Janmotsav Discourse in Hindi

About the Event

On the sacred occasion of Paramahansa Yogananda’s Janmotsav (birth anniversary), a YSS sannyasi will highlight the importance of the Guru in a devotee’s life as the channel of spiritual knowledge, divine wisdom, and the dispeller of ignorance through an online talk in Hindi titled “Guru — The Door to Salvation,” on Saturday, January 3.

This inspiring discourse will draw on Yoganandaji’s teachings, where Swami Dhairyananda explains that a yogi “recognizes the guru as the manifested messenger of God and the channel of salvation.” He says that God helps a seeker who is deeply in earnest, by sending him a guru — a God-knowing person who has been divinely appointed by Him to take the seeker as a disciple and lead him from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom.

We invite you to attend this talk with family and friends.
