The relationship between guru and disciple is the greatest expression of love in friendship; it is unconditional divine friendship, based on a shared, singular goal: the desire to love God above all else.
— Paramahansa Yogananda
The sacred occasion of Paramahansa Yogananda’s Janmotsav (birth anniversary) was commemorated with special programmes including an online discourse by a YSS sannyasi in Hindi on the theme, “The Unconditional Love of the Guru,” on Saturday, January 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (IST).
This satsanga delved into the Guru-disciple relationship and helped gain a better understanding of the spiritual blessing of receiving the guidance, support, and unconditional love of a true guru.
Yoganandaji’s Janmotsav was also celebrated at all our Ashrams, Dhyana Kendras and Mandalis throughout the country with love, devotion, and heartfelt gratitude to the Premavatar.
