About the Event

To know God, don’t expect anything. Just launch yourself with faith into His blissful Presence within.

— Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri

Paramahansa Yogananda described his guru Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri as: “Softer than the flower, where kindness is concerned; stronger than the thunder, where principles are at stake.”

An online commemorative long meditation was conducted by a YSS sannyasi to honour the Avirbhav Divas (May 10) of Swami Sri Yukteswar.

This spiritually enriching programme included periods of chanting, inspirational reading, and meditation.

YSS ashrams, kendras and mandalis also conducted in-person programmes on this occasion.

On this special occasion – the Avirbhav Divas of Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri – it is a tradition for devotees to express their gratitude for the many blessings they receive by offering Guru-pranami. Your valuable contribution will be used towards the spread of the soul-liberating teachings of the YSS/SRF gurus.
