“I make one prediction now: The world is not going down to destruction,” Paramahansa Yogananda said at a talk in 1948 at a dinner in honour of Mahatma Gandhi. “So don’t be frightened. Believe in your Father. He will protect you if you remember His ideals, if you keep faith in Him.”
In this excerpt from the talk “Attuning Our Lives With God’s Plan,” Sri Sri Swami Chidananda Giri, president and spiritual head of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India/Self-Realization Fellowship, counsels us on what it means to have such faith; and suggests that we hold on to a positive attitude and the far-reaching and balanced wisdom to be found in Paramahansaji’s teachings.
