Inauguration of the YSS Online Dhyana Kendra — Jan. 31, 2021

welcome to online dhyana kendra

“Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism.”

– Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda
We invite you to experience the inspiring launch of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India Online Dhyana Kendra, with an inaugural 3-hour meditation held on Sunday, January 31, 2021. The first hour of this meditation was conducted by Sri Sri Swami Chidananda Giri, president and spiritual head of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India/Self-Realization Fellowship (YSS/SRF). The remaining portion was led by a YSS sannyasi.

The YSS Online Dhyana Kendra will be the counterpart of the SRF Online Meditation Center, which was launched in October 2019 by Swami Chidanandaji. (“Dhyana kendra” is the Hindi term for “meditation centre.”) Since, then a steadily growing number of SRF and YSS devotees and friends have come together online to experience the benefits and blessings of group meditations.

The YSS Online Dhyana Kendra will further extend the availability of these blessings by offering online group meditations, retreats and special programmes designed specifically to serve YSS devotees. Please visit our Online Dhyana Kendra page to learn more and see a complete programme schedule.

Programme Calendar and Other Offerings

All are welcome to attend the YSS sannyasi-led meditations and other special programmes offered by the YSS Online Dhyana Kendra each week by visiting the calendar page.

In future, we hope to expand our online offerings to include a variety of meditation formats: short, long, with kirtans, etc. As soon as possible, we will also begin offering them in several Indian languages. We also plan to initiate scriptural and YSS Lessons study groups in the coming months.

We hope you enjoy the joyous inaugural event, and that now onwards you can regularly attend the group meditations and special programmes.
