Through the grace of God and the Great Gurus, our organization continues to grow rapidly throughout the Indian subcontinent, bringing more and more truth-seekers to the transforming and liberating path of Kriya Yoga. Moreover, with the online initiatives we implemented last year, the growth has been even more rapid.

However, the rapid spread of Guruji’s work brings along with it the joyous challenge of sustaining and supporting this growth with adequate manpower and other resources; and the need to constantly improve the systems and procedures within our organization to efficiently serve the growing family of devotees.

With a view to augment our manpower strength, we would like to share with you a few roles that we are looking to fill in various Departments at our Ranchi ashram on full-time remuneration basis.

Invitation to YSS Devotees with professional background

Given below are the details of five (5) full-time roles, along with their Key Responsibilities and requisite qualifications. Before opening these positions to outside professionals, we want to check if there are any professionals among YSS devotees who would like to avail of these opportunities:

Project Manager & Staff Supervisor

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Managing printing projects and overseeing several employees in YSS’s publications area, under the guidance of YSS monastics
  • Working closely with YSS monastics and sevaks to execute YSS’s annual publications plans
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring timely achievement of all printing projects with the available resources and staff
  • Effectively communicating with and motivating the staff to ensure that they are in alignment with the departmental goals

Qualifications:

  • Graduate with 10-15 years of experience or MBA/Post-Graduate with 5 -7 years of experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Should be able to communicate in English and Hindi

Online Sales & Marketing Manager

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Managing all YSS accounts in the online market places such as Amazon, etc. to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitoring online sales, stock management, providing good customer service and resolving grievances
  • Managing digital marketing campaigns and overseeing online promotion plans
  • Creating MIS reports for periodic review by monastics
  • Tracking copyright violations
  • Working with the senior management to understand the motto and marketing strategy
  • Developing and implementing strategies to help achieve the organizational priorities

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate with 4-5 years of experience
  • Digital marketing and online sales experience will be an added advantage
  • Willing to work on strict deadlines

Note: This position is open for Work-from-Home basis only.

Systems Administrator

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure in the ashram
  • Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining Operating Systems, Application software and system management tools
  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies and proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency
  • Participating in design of information and operational support systems
  • Providing Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) support to the users
  • Liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for trouble-shooting problems
  • Managing Windows servers and Anti-virus servers as well as the CCTV infrastructure in the ashram

 

Qualifications: BCA with minimum 3 years of experience / M.Sc (Computers) / MCA with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Systems Administration

Civil Engineer & Site Supervisor

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Understanding the goals laid down by Senior management and executing them at the workplace
  • experience in supervising large teams engaged in manual labour
  • Planning, Drawing and Record keeping
  • Excellent liaising skills with external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring progress of each project and controlling its running costs
  • Storekeeping
  • Record keeping for expenses and accounts maintenance
  • Experience in procurements and vendor management
  • Presenting new project proposals to senior management

 

Qualifications: Civil Engineer with AutoCad computer knowledge / Site Supervisor with Graduation in Science / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Any previous construction experience of 5-7 years in a supervisory role

Operations Manager & Staff Supervisor

Main Functions of the Role:

  • Having good managerial skills with ability to lead and supervise teams engaged in manual labour
  • Understanding the plans of the Department and executing them with the aid of the staff members
  • Prioritizing and scheduling maintenance related tasks on a daily basis with regular and close monitoring
  • Procuring regular Maintenance supplies, storekeeping, and inventory management
  • Record keeping for expenses and accounts maintenance

 

Qualifications: 

  • Civil Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, of which a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Ability to handle large projects with Cost management expertise will be an added advantage

Who may Apply?

All the positions listed above are on remuneration basis. While they are open only for men devotees below the age of 55, those who are above 55 but with the required profile, relevant work-experience, and skill-sets mentioned above, and want to serve as a Sevak on voluntary basis may also write to us.

Devotees who serve in the YSS ashrams can take advantage of the balanced schedule and low-stress, harmonious working environment of the ashram. The opportunity to regularly join group meditations and other spiritual activities, enjoy the blessed ashram grounds, and give the necessary time and focus for their sadhana in the company of monastics and other sevaks are some of the other blessings of serving in the ashram.
