Young Sadhak Camps 2026

(Three-day programmes in Bengaluru and Chandigarh)

Registration for these camps is now open!

About the Events

When you meditate, immerse your whole mind in God. And when you are performing a duty, put your whole heart into it. But as soon as you are through with work, place your mind on the Lord. When you learn to practise the presence of God in every moment that you are free to think of Him, then even in the midst of work you will be aware of divine communion.

— Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

The inaugural Young Sadhak Sangam, held at the YSS Ranchi ashram in September 2025, was a huge success. It generated requests for similar events to be held in other parts of the country. To address this need, YSS is pleased to announce the Young Sadhak Camps in Bengaluru and Chandigarh in February 2026. The theme of these camps is “Living in the Divine Presence.”

Specially designed for YSS devotees aged 23–35 years, these weekend gatherings offer Paramahansaji’s unique How-to-Live training for living a successful and balanced life. YSS sannyasis will lead group meditations and chanting sessions, offer individual spiritual counselling, and conduct workshops with group discussions where practical methods for living in the presence of the Divine will be taught.

Please note:

  • Only YSS/SRF devotees may attend the camps.
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • As the programme schedule will be hectic, devotees with fragile health or special needs are advised not to apply.

Major Features of the Camp

  • Group Meditations — With guided practice of the YSS meditation techniques
  • ShravanaGroup study of the YSS Lessons with introspection
  • Satsangas — Offering inspiration and practical wisdom on how to meet life’s challenges
  • Workshops — With group discussions, tips, and techniques for living in the presence of the Divine
  • Kirtan chanting —  Devotional sessions of group singing that uplift heart, mind, and soul
  • Spiritual Counselling — One-on-one guidance by experienced monastics on request
  • Guru-Seva — In different areas of the camp: ushering, dining, decorations, registration desk, bookroom, etc.
  • Recreation — Daily group exercises and a period of recreation
  • Fellowship — With like-minded young sadhaks from all over the country
  • Picnic — To a nature spot in the company of monastics

Whether you wish to rekindle your spiritual enthusiasm or renew your commitment to the spiritual life and make new spiritual friends, we welcome you to join these camps and go away spiritually recharged.
