About the Event

…only love can take my place. Be so drunk with the love of God that you will know nothing but God; and give that love to all.

— Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

To commemorate the mahasamadhi (a God-realized yogi’s final conscious exit from the body) of our beloved Gurudeva, a special meditation was led by a YSS sannyasi in English on Thursday, March 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (IST). The programme included chanting, inspirational reading, and meditation.

In addition to this online programme, various in-person commemorative events were also conducted at our ashrams and centres on this occasion.

On this special day, devotees offer Guru-pranami as a token of gratitude to their Guru, for the blessings he sends forth into their lives. You are welcome to make this offering online. Your valuable contribution will be used towards the spread of his soul-liberating teachings.
