About the Event

Human conduct is ever unreliable until man is anchored in the Divine. Everything in the future will improve if you are making a spiritual effort now.

— Swami Sri Yukteswar

Swami Sri Yuteswarji is revered as a Jnanavatar, or an “incarnation of wisdom.” On the occasion of Yukteswarji’s mahasamadhi (a God-realized yogi’s final conscious exit from the body), a special commemorative meditation was led by a YSS sannyasi in English.

This spiritually uplifting programme scheduled on Saturday, March 9 included chanting, inspirational reading, and meditation.

In addition to this online programme, various in-person commemorative events  were also conducted at our ashrams and centres on this occasion.

On this special day, devotees offer Guru-pranami as a token of gratitude to their Guru, for the blessings he sends forth into their lives. You are welcome to make this offering online. Your valuable contribution will be used towards the spread of the Kriya Yoga teachings of YSS/SRF gurus.
