Dear Ones,
Loving greetings to each one of you, in Gurudeva Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji’s name.
I have been following the news about the civil unrest in Nepal with deep concern in my heart for the loss of lives, the destruction of homes and institutions, and the uncertainty that the community is facing. My prayers are with the entire nation, and especially with Guruji’s dear and dedicated devotees in Nepal—many of whom I had the joy and inspiration of meeting during my visit earlier this year. During these challenging times, let us remember to remain inwardly anchored in the enduring presence of God’s peace within us, having faith in His divine protection and infinite compassion. May His sheltering presence enfold this beautiful country, nestled in the lap of the sacred Himalayas.
You are each a cherished part of Gurudeva’s worldwide spiritual family, and I am sure that you are joining me and the monastics in Guruji’s ashrams in visualizing the entire nation surrounded by divine light. Each day after meditation when we practise Guruji’s yogic healing technique as part of the YSS/SRF Worldwide Prayer Circle, let us consciously feel that the sacred Aum Vibration is radiating as a powerful wave of love—helping to restore balance, inspire goodwill, and open hearts to understanding and unity. By praying with the urgency of our deepest yearning and with sincere faith, we open a channel for divine aid to flow into the world with a transcendent, boundless power of peace and harmony.
May the grace and blessings of our Gurudeva and Paramgurus be a living source of spiritual strength and comfort for all of you who are experiencing these turbulent circumstances. Please know that I hold each of you in my heart, and pray that you will find security and courage in the loving embrace of the Divine.
Unceasing blessings in God and Guru,
Swami Chidananda Giri
