Welcome to the Serampore (Kolkata) Retreat of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS). Paramahansa Yogananda founded YSS in 1917 to make available the ancient scientific teachings and meditation techniques of Kriya Yoga for achieving all-round success, well-being, and a direct personal experience of God.
YSS has several locations spread throughout the country, meant exclusively for retreats. These locations, situated amidst nature and serene surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle of noisy city life, provide an ideal setup for retreatants to relax and go deep into their sadhana and be closer to their true Self.
