Welcome to the Mumbai Meditation Centre of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS). Paramahansa Yogananda founded YSS in 1917 to make available the ancient scientific teachings and meditation techniques of Kriya Yoga for achieving all-round success, well-being, and a direct personal experience of God.
YSS has more than 200 centres across India to help all truth-seekers experience the power of group meditations and to share in spiritual fellowship.

The city of Mumbai has a unique connection to Paramahansa Yogananda as mentioned in his spiritual best-seller Autobiography of a Yogi. Not only did he give several public addresses in Mumbai during his return from the West in 1935-36, but it was here that he had the scared spiritual blessing of witnessing the resurrection of his guru Swami Sri Yukteswar on June 19, 1936.
